The theme for our monthly photo quest in October was “Square” and we expected a large number of submissions because that’s EASY, right? Well… perhaps it wasn’t – or perhaps it was TOO easy? 😉 Either way, here are the images that you submitted for the quest. Thanks a lot to everyone who participated!
November is here! Which means it’s time for a new monthly photo quest. The theme this month is “Iconic San Diego”. San Diego has plenty of “iconic” locations and landmarks and we want you to get out with your camera and make a photo the one that is the most iconic – to you!
You are invited to the November 10, 2018 meeting of Sierra Club Photo Section at the Serra Mesa Kearny Mesa Library Community Room, featuring Theresa Jackson and her presentation “Mobile Photography with Lightroom CC.”
Our October photo activity will be at the 18th annual Dia De Los Muertos in Oceanside, at the Mission San Luis Rey. Please find more information below, and the event flyer at the end.
You are invited to the October 13 meeting of Sierra Club Photo Section at the Serra Mesa Kearny Mesa Library Community Room, featuring Susan Coppock and her presentation “Chasing Storms & Photographing Lightning.”
New month and new chance to win absolutely nothing in our monthly photo quest – except for the incredible experience of getting out with your camera, thinking creatively, and making a photo for the quest in which you interpret the theme! Which should be its own reward, of course. On top of that though, your photo will get featured in the gallery of submissions that we post once the quest is complete (and the month is over). Does that sound awesome? Are you in?
