About the San Diego Photo Club
Thank you for visiting the website of San Diego’s Sierra Club, Photo Section. Our club has been a gathering place for San Diego area photographers and enthusiasts for many years and is a mainstay in the local photographic community. We invite you to join us!
Our members include professionals, enthusiasts, and amateurs spanning every branch of photography. We have members who have been photographers their entire lives, as well as members who have purchased their first camera and want to learn more about the wonderful field of photography.
We welcome you to the Club. Feel free to look around the website, see who we are, what we do, and how much we want you to be a part of our group. We hope to see you at a meeting very soon!
Our meetings are held on the Third Thursday of every month except December. At each meeting, we’ll have a main presenter, a raffle with prices from our sponsors, and our MemberShare, where our members share their own photos. The location is at:
Wesley Palms Center, 2404 Loring Street, San Diego, California.
Anybody can attend our monthly meetings! Members and non-members can attend the meetings free of charge. Other clubs charge you to attend. We don’t! If you like what you see, become a member and you can join us on our outings and receive the Club’s Viewfinder Newsletter. You will also make some of the greatest friends you can find who are just as passionate about Photography as you.
Please sign in at the reception desk when you arrive, and name “Photo Club” as the visited party. The meeting room is around the corner of the reception desk, on the right.
